The new device called BrainPort, it is a portable technology that can transfer images from the camera on the helmet to humans via the tongue. BrainPort creates blurry images of megapixels. The tongue is almost as powerful as the brain. Unfortuanately, the tongue isn't very dependant and has limited functions. The device is still being tested, but, many people are sure it will become a successful device for the blind. The device has been mentioned in CBS News (my source for information about BrainPort). For BrainPort's website (Wicab Inc.), click here.

Going Crazy Over USB
Now, there is a "sushi" USB storage device. I know, hahaha. You might think it only can store a few MBs. But, it can store almost 1 GB! Isn't that amazing for a piece of tuna sushi? Also, there is a USB Eye Warmer, if you just want to rest your eyes for a while before using the computer again (Recommended: Every 30 minutes of using the computer, you should rest your eyes for at least 5 minutes). Sorry, no picture for this one. Need a device for your drink to be warm or cold? Introducing the USB Chiller/Warmer. Always wanted drinks when they were cold, but they turned out warm? Now, you can use this device to warm up or cool down drinks. But, be careful! You might accidently spill your drink and say goodbye to your computer. Click here for the pictures. Now, I'll tell you about a VERY useful device for the Winter. USB Heating Slippers!!! You can have warm feet without turning on the heat just for your feet. I know, pictures again, click here. Well, I think that's it. As you can tell, the USB port is useful for almost anything. The next time you buy a new computer, be sure it comes with a few USB ports, hahaha.

Happy New Year
2007 is finally here! Today, there is no smoking in all indoor facilities and parks, yipee!!! Finally, a day when we can breathe a little better in Hong Kong, so much pollution everyday. Today, for the first time in a few weeks there were clear, blue skies, not grey. Also, today will be the future date of my dad's co-worker's anniversary. She got married to her fiance today, and most of the company went to her wedding. I know, It's unusual for people to get married on the first day of the year. But, unfortunately, I couldn't see the fireworks last night, I had to go to sleep early for the wedding. Ok, well, I have nothing else to say except to remind you: Remember everybody, don't ever smoke, you'll look like the person below. So don't SMOKE!!!!! Do you understand what I am saying???????????
