This morning, I went to UA Shatin. We were supposed to watch Mr. Bean's Holiday (戇豆放大假)-Comedy, but, there were only 2 BAD seats left, one at the front row-right corner (next to the screen) and one at the back left corner. So we watched Meet the Robinsons (羅拔神奇家族(粵語配音版)-Cantonese Version instead. It was ok, but, $15 more expensive than the Morning Show (9:50). The show was at 11:00, so we went to IKEA Shatin, I forgot that it wasn't open yet (10:30). We also went to the Jumpin' Gym (NOT a gym), it's one of those places where you play games and exchange your tickets from prizes. By the time we finished playing, it was 10:50, nearly 11! We raced back to UA Shatin.
--About The Movie (Released on April 5-HK)
I have to admit, it wasn't that bad. Although, in the beginning, I thought we were in the wrong room, it started with a Mickey Mouse film (I know...weird). If it was the English version, I would've fallen asleep. I'm quite impressed with how they translated the movie into Cantonese. The whole "moral" of the movie is: Look in front of you, It's the future.
--About The Theatre
This is interesting about the theatres in Hong Kong. In HK theatres, there's not a lot of air-con and not as loud as the U.S. ones. They're also a lot smaller (not enough room in HK), also, the seats are all on the same level, no "upper seats". Also, less commercials :)
